While, this is not an official 'hello' introduction, I never really posted one when I first joined the community in 2012. I thought instead, a 'thank you' post was in order.
As some of you know, I have a background in Network Telephony and Engineering; it's my day job. I started selling on eBay as a hobby. Now, I mainly use eBay (and now Amazon!) as a means to allow the wife to stay home and focus on taking care of our son.
When I first joined aspkin, I was just looking for a quick way to get back on eBay. I read that creating a stealth account w/ new information was the way to go. I immediately did that and ran it successfully for a year.
Then came another suspension - in May 2013. Like many others, I went through a whole host of emotions - mainly, how could I have been so silly to assume I can operate stealth with just 1 account?
At that point, I cooled off eBay and and started to really read through this forum and the
stealth guide to figure out what I was doing wrong and how I can improve.
I made this forum my homepage - pouring in hours just reading what others had to say. I literally
studied posts & comments made by jeffweico, MM78, JamesNorth101, GreenBean, SandyD, Dmshark25, TonyAlmeida, and rsot. It is these veterans of the forum that make all this information so easy to absorb.
Special thanks goes out to those account sellers who provided me the immediate means to sell again - the 2nd time (SandyD, 123, biggunn).
And a very special thanks to
Aspkin for providing all of us step by step instructions and a forum where we can exchange our ideas and share our knowledge.
We have all been provided a means on how to get back on. But, operating and maintaining successful stealth accounts is all about how much
effort you put into it. It will take lots of work and dedication, but it is sure worth it in the long run.
Thanks again to Aspkin & its members.
