New Paypal for Used eBay Acc

Hi, a couple of my friends have ebay accounts that they no longer care for. They are aged a couple years so thats why they are valuable to me. Can I make a new Paypal for one of these accounts and be okay? Or if not, I have a paypal that isn't linked to an ebay account, could that work? Any information would be helpful, thanks.

Just because they are aged, it does not mean they may be of use.

What is the history on the accounts?

Did you know that if there is NO SELLING activity on the accounts, they will be regarded as new when an item is listed?

That's weird. I used a friends account for stealth and his account was a year aged and it allowed me to list 30 items in one category as his first item. Is this a bug? Because one of my other stealth accounts was able to list 20 items in a category and only been opened for 12 days. Any insight?
