Default Anyone try using a Vanilla Visa today?

I've registered several new accounts during the past couple days, not 1 problem.

Today, I made another new account, and 3 different Vanilla Visa cards would not add to paypal.

Both started with 4847, one had 5/20 exp the two others 6/20 exp. I'm wondering if anyone one else had this problem?

Very strange experience right now.

I ended up trying 5 different vanilla visa cards (even ran out to the store to get a bunch of others to try). Also declined were 8/20 and 6/21

After the 5th card I said screw it and opened up a new account from scratch.
Tried a card ending in 10/19 and it worked no problem.

Now I'm not sure if it's the cards that did it, or if my account got flagged right off the bat because a few minutes after I tried the last card before giving up on the first paypal account, I got an account limited email.

Those of you who have conversed with me on this site, know that I'm not a newbie, I've made literally hundreds of accounts over the years. Never in all my time has this happened.

I'm wondering if Sandy or any of you account sellers have ever had this issue?

I had a similar issue but not with Paypal, I couldn't register 2 of the MasterCards I use (3 Pack) so I called had them register the cards manually.

there was a thread about the same issue a few months ago. Can't find it now, perhaps if you can, you can link it to here.

I know when making a payment you have to register the card (just zip code) on Vanilla visa site. Maybe same applies

I havent had a problem with vanlla recently, it might be specific to the bin number or something suspect about the paypal account specifcally.

I've done this hundreds of times. I did everything right.

What happened is the account got flagged as soon as I opened it. It could have been a case where the prepaid phone number had already been used by a stealth user who had been limited, or maybe the address as I use real addresses that are unoccupied.

It wouldn't let me add a card because as soon as I registered the account, it was in a limited status. I just didn't know it because the email doesn't get sent immediately, I suspect the account gets limited and then maybe 5-10 minutes later the email gets sent, so in the meantime I was trying to add card after card with no luck.

In all likelihood, there was nothing wrong with the cards, just the account.

I really hope youu weren't spamming your same account with trying to add 5 different cards in one day.

If so, say bye bye to that account.. That's not normal activity.

Next time don't be so impatient, and think about what you are doing. (If that's what you did... If not, I apologize)

Might be better if you have a quick read of posts by the OP.

You are not talking to a stealth noob.

He is very familiar with issues and behavior.

Just wanted to add that I got 2 vanilla gift cards , both expire on 02/21, and they registered without a problem so far. Looks odd that the OP's vanilla card expires a year earlier and has problems.

You do have a point about not being impatient. It may have been better to wait 24 hours before adding another card, but I'm not sure it would have made any difference.

Like some of the vet posters have commented, I'm not a newbie. I've done this more times than you can even imagine.

Taking a look at my spreadsheets, I have one for limited and suspended accounts and another for active accounts. Since I started stealthing in 2010, I've created 264 accounts.

I've done a lot of trial and error during that time. When I experience something different, it triggers my alarms and I'm the type of person who needs to find the fix and get to the bottom of it.

I think I figured that I must have used some bad info because everything else was the same as my normal routine. New windows acct, new Mac ID with different IP address. New Address, new name, new card, new phone. I use non related email names, different passwords. I change all the info.

I'm pretty sure the phone number I used was probably linked to someone else in the past, or possibly the address. Prepaid phone numbers get recycled, and I'm sure there's thousands of stealth users who use the same services that we do. If you create enough accounts, you're bound to get a bad phone number eventually.

Regardless of Corleone's experience, StealthyStealth is not wrong.

I'm in the triple digits too, btw.

Just sayin' don't jump on a bandwagon if it's going the wrong way.

That's fine cause I don't take passengers, but I'd say it's hardly going the wrong way, because of one bad startup account. LOL.

He expressed an opinion, with a tad of assuming.

Unless you have had an indepth discussion with corleon aovid second guessing his behavior.
