Follow up questions from the above thread but about paypal.

Going to buy the ebook and read up today. Might give me something to do other than being frustrated with eBay lol.

Couple more questions:

1. How do you deal with PayPal issuing 1099's once you hit 20,000 or $200 in sales for the year?

I had done about $1600 in sales last week and it was my first month, so I expect I'd hit that within a few months once the limits are decent.

2. I see that you can buy eBay and Paypal and bank accounts here on the forum. Would doing that make it so that I don't have to set up a million bank accounts in my name?

3. I saw that we're supposed to pay our fees with giftcards. Is it ok to buy, say $1000 worth of giftcards, to cover a single account if our sales got that high?

Thanks again!
Matt

Default Moving soon

Hey guys,

Last night I posted about getting my first (unfair, of course) suspension on my legitimate eBay account.

After reading about stealth, my big concern is that we always have to stop selling before we hit the $20,000 mark in a year in order to avoid PayPal asking for SSN for tax purposes.

That means that we can never really build a substantial single account because $1667/month isn't that much.

So, here's my question:

Sometime in the next few months, I'm going to be moving. Probably only about 10-30 minutes away, but it'll be a new house. Thus it'll have a new address, new IP, etc.

If I make a new bank account at that time, and verify a new PayPal account under my name, would I be able to start anew with my real info?

NO.

Your real info is damaged property.

Avoid doing that, Matt.

1. You go stealth and provide necessary documentation if you hit limits.

2. You still your own bank account to get money out - or, alternatively, you can do purchases and buy things with your PP funds.

3. Sure, you could do that if fees get high - new accounts should NOT be seeing that kind of action right away though.

All the best.

You're starting anew with old info. Hate to break it to you, but that's not really new!

It's not good to mix old info with new info.

You are headed in the right direction with using new information, just continue doing so with all of your info (not just some) and you'll be fine.

haha true, guess I'm just still surprised eBay would permanently ban me over a coffee maker.

So is there any way to build an account and do as many sales as you want (over the $20k/year mark), or is that completely out of the question.

Really appreciate the help guys!

A good way is to BUILD it - that takes time, you can't avoid that...these days, it is VERY tough to do as many sales as you want right off the bat. Even after 90 days...even after 6 months.

One solution is more account creation.
