Default Idea for paypal phone verification

I have been thinking what the best ways would be to become a fully verified, umlimited paypal account holder.

Credit cards, Banks accounts etc are not the problem for me. It's the phone call pin number verification sytem.

My plan is, to setup say 5 paypal accounts, each with a seperate fully operational credit card and bank account on file. No problem, easy infact.

The next thing to do is phone verification, what i propose to do is register each account with an internet cafe in my area. They will have a phone number that match's their address. I will use both. I will go to the internet cafe and continue setting up my paypal account, i will then explain to the the owner i may need to use their phone briefly to recieve a call- the paypal verification call.

What do you think, any good?

Well.
What happens when/if paypal randomly calls you after you list something/try to withdraw your money etc?

I got an account with 800 bucks stuck in it because of that. Though I hope to get it out soon.

It's easy to get around ebay verification aswell, thats primary school stuff. You can use a phone box to verify an ebay account and then register a mobile number. Also if ebay try and call you and cant get trhough, you can go through livechat anyway to verify your details so it's no problem.

Paypal on the other hand requires a fixed landline registered with the paypal address you have used, this is where it gets more complicated, and this is where my technique will will prove invaluable should you have already used any fixed landline numbers you have at your disposal on other accounts..

..There is the other option ofcourse i saw someone else on here write about- you could supply paypal with duff details and they would then send a letter, you could register the account at a neighbours address and in a name like yours so when it arrives they pass it onto you. Both techniques could work well.

HI: The only thing I see is what if that phone number is already in the files as a
a.) prev used number
b.) a potential fraud number
c.) shows up as a commercial business/

>. Heres some Good reading/ Research for you to understand what a small time Landlord has access to:

(keep in mind--Paypal + Ebay have Software Engineers at their disposal--for Anti Fraud software)--

AnYHOW--try google Equifax Safe Scan--its a Program, (add on)--that checks an application..
It CAN AND WILL ALERT THE SUBSCRIBER FOR:

a.) Prev fraud at a certain address
b.) Prev used phone number
c.) where the address is and what type of address,,,i.e. commercial/drop box/ups suite, etc.

Like a Fico Score--this simple program, Predicts the chances of Fraud...

a) I am not an expert, so please correct me if i am wrong. But on my home phone number we have about 5 seperate verified paypal accounts, for different people living at this address. So therefore i assume even if the internet cafe have a paypal account- it would let me register another one anyway?

b)Good point, will have to look into this, don't know much about this?

c) Are you not allowed to register paypal accounts at personal business address's? What if you were a company that traded on ebay, you may need to register a paypal account to that address?

THanks in advance for the help mate.

Paypal does call...rare but they do. I had an open dispute on one of my accounts and i got a personal follow up call. Using someone else phone is a bad idea. Why cant you just use a forwarding service?

ebay verification is easy and still works with some voip's.
Paypal on the other hand is harder, if you went to an internet cafe and done this wont the ip's be the same as lots more pc's?

I'm not sure mate, i am only going by what i have read on the forums.

I guess it would be best to start out registering accounts at friends houses, and relatives like you said in another post. I am going to aim for 1 fully operational paypal and ebay account a month. Every time I go to a relatives house, i am going to register a set of accounts there!

The great thing is, from my understanding of the posts i have read- if 1 account does get closed, all you need to do is cancel the cards on that account and then you will get issued with new numbers which you can open a new account with :D

Ok so if I create a paypal account will they call me to see if its a landline?
Is it often paypal calls?
I won't be using them to accept payments I will be using ccnow. So will they still call or send that letter for verification even if I'm not using them?
I need a answer to these questions in about 30 mins I need to go and create the paypal account!

Is this an issue with paypal in general or only if you use it in conjunction with ebay? I don't really use paypal so I have no idea what's goign on with them nowadays.

..sack, for my stand alone paypal accounts in the USA & UK, I never have had the pleasure of any phone calls. Same applies to Australia. All of these are older paypal accounts.

Guys i think the papal phone call is obviously the hardest part of the verification. The easiest thing to do would be to buy a p.o. box or a office address. For mine the charge is only £10 a month if you recieve mail or not. Let paypal send you the verification code by mail and then close the address if you need to

Are you guys getting the prompt to confirm your phone number when you sign up, or only after you have become limited?

I always had the idea that bank verification was the only thing to remove all limitations
