Your best bet would be signing up to a site that does the research for you like terapeak, however that is not free. Does anyone know of any free alternatives?

You can check out the website worldwidebrands.com it has all legit suppliers and those suppliers want to work with small businesses. You can also go to garage sales, flea markets, estate sales, and thrift stores.

Dropshipping is not that good of an idea since dropshipper have very high markups on items they say are "wholesale"
Also dropshippers don't ship items on time.

Correction, Dropshippers do ship items on time, it;s just processing times. The seller has to wait for funds to clear to then send funds to the dropshipper who then in turn has to wait for the funds to clear, therefore doubling times.

I know a few good dropshippers, ive also dropshipped for customers too. No harm, just need to pick a good reputable one and have funds, items standing by ready so you can be 1 ahead every order.

Not to be funny Noel, but it's unlikely anyone will part with this information, as it will simply open themselves up to competition.

You're best bet is to have a look around yourself.
