verify Virtual paypal acccount?

OK, i have a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay account and a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account which has the the same username. paypal wants me to verify, either by credit card or bank account, and this is the bit i dont get:

To verify with bank account it wants my checking account routing code and account number, but no name or address.

So can i just use my own checking account, of course one that has never been used by any paypal account? will i get away with that?

That'll work.

You just need a working bank account that you haven't used with Paypal before and it'll work.

Also if you want to open up a quick online account for a second Paypal account, WaMu works well.

ok thanx, so this can be done over and over, i can just open new checking accounts.

but why would papal allow this if they want to verify the account??

They just want to make sure that you have access to that account by verifying the small deposits. I guess they don't care whos name is on the account.

Does it matter if you verify your bank account using the online login and password with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account? Anyone try it yet?

Other forum members have used it without any problems. Im too paranoid.
