Avoiding phone verification by getting feedback points?

I entered a mastercard gift card as a payment option and phone verification is required.

Someone said if you create a new account and let it age for a couple days and buy a couple items at ebay and get feedback points you can create a seller account without using a phone number for verification?


is this true?

if not could I use a cell phone number from another member in the family and will ebay be able to track that number?

No ebay will not be able to track that number.
Personally what youve said Ive never experienced.

I live in California but I entered an address and area code for Danielson, CT

I don't want to enter the same city and state as I did before when I got suspended.

Could I change my personal info to a bogus California name and address and use a cell phone with a california area code for verification and then after I am verified change back to the Danielson, CT address?

As for phone--why not get a Ring Central--you can choose either Ct or CA..

Ring centeral is phone forwarding company. It forwards from a virtual number to your home or cell phone number.

just buy in to vonage you can have any area code you want and as meny as you want or even 800 numbers each only 5 bucks each and change any time you want
