Default Aupost Load & Go alternatives for ATM withdrawals?

I read in http://www.aspkin.com/forums/au-payp...al-limits.html

that aupost load and go has changed ATM withdraw limits to $250 a week. :(

Does anyone here know of any other alternatives. I don't mind submitting ID. Just looking for one that has a BSB that allows transfer of paypal funds so i can withdraw at ATM.

Why not just open a bank account?

L&G seemed too good to be true so the powers that be have put a limit on ATM withdrawals damn!

I think you are still able to spend it like a debit/credit card with a max of $500 per day (unsure I might have to read their terms and conditions again!).

That is the only supposed way around the ATM withdrawal limit.

Other than that I've yet to find the equivalent of L&G in Australia.

Go to the TAB, find something with odds of $1.02 or something similar, pay with eftpos via your load and go card, cash out with your winning ticket.

Yes i found that out the hard way with TAB and Pokerstars. Just plain dumb on my part i did not read through their money laundering page before i just deposited about $2000 into my TAB account and then had to bet on a $1.01.

It's not a smart thing to do though because it's not 100% guarantee you will win and also TAB staff members get suspicious about those sorts of transactions on an account.

I got really lucky when i was there arguing over my $2000 because there was an Italian guy right next to me in the TAB that did the exact same thing i did but with about $8000 on a $1.01 and Tab staff members got suspicious about it and he had all sorts of problems getting his money out.

You can still spend the same amount on the cards as before, it's only the ATM withdrawal limit that has changed.

Don't open an account with them and bet smaller amounts, say $800. I've done plenty of bets like that with cash, can't you do the same thing paying with eftpos?

I don't want to add an account attached to my real bank account because I am scared that one day Paypal might start taking money from my bank account due to a buyer claim. I know at the moment. Paypal cannot do this but i am still scared that might happen. lol

Has anyone tried the Load and go TRAVEL card? I know you have to show ID which is fine.

Does the travel card also have a BSB account for Bank deposits??

Maximum single load amount - AUD$10,000
Maximum available card balance (at any time) - AUD$10,000
Maximum value of ATM cash withdrawals per day AUD$2,500

Sounds good to me if they also have BSB

I do not leave any money in bank linked to PP, charge backs or similar not an issue, attempted chargeback on load and go equals restriction with funds in account restricted and a hassle to get out. Looked at Travel Card it requires a minimum of $100 required to open account. There are work arounds using normal Load & Go if you think about it..... If you do go down the Travel card road I would be interested in how you get on though :-)

Ok to show ID but if you have a bad buyer fraudulently making INR, SNAD or chargebacks, it will fall on you and the details you provided - PayPal will chase you for the money depending on the amount "owed" to them you may have bad credit rating. Think about that.

Yes but the card itself is free.

L&G normal card is $7 - atm fee is $0 unless the atm machine charges extra. i have never been charged a fee for atm withdrawals though

L&G travel - card $0 with minimum $100 deposit. - it says ATM fee is $2. not sure if ATM fee can get waived but you can easily put $100 in it and withdraw the $100 At ATM the same day.

If there is no ATM charge. it means you got the account for free. if there is the $2 at charge. it still works out to be initially $5 cheaper than getting the normal L&G.

so yeah the $100 at first is abit of a turn off but it has it benefits.

Everyone has an ABN right?

Start a fruit shop up, on paper of course and ring Suncorp, or ANZ, or NAB, or Westpac or........your favourite bank and apply for a Epftos terminal. Process takes 3-5 days and guess what?

No desperate measures.

Just keeping it simple. Even more simple and I believe this lovely island will float away

Don't you have to provide eBay with the merchant account details in order to integrate your eBay account with the merchant account i order to accept payments?

Setting up a merchant account with an EFTPOS terminal is fine if you only operate a single account.

For thos of us with many multiple accounts (that cannot be linked) it is a bit much to be setting up merchant facilities for each of these accounts... not to mention costly.

No, no no your missing the point ebayanarchy.

Read the title of the thread topic-alternatives for ATM withdrawals?

If you have a terminal machine and X number of L&G cards, simply pay your way and wave through withdrawal city. Good idea and great for existing shops with the terminal already, great asset those little suckers!

Bump, anyone know if there are any prepaid reloadable cards that have BSB and Account number that can be used to register on PP for withdrawing?

Anyone tried Travel Card or anyone tried the reloadable Coles MasterCard? what ended up happening with that?
