What causes a paypal account to get limited sending money, buying item?

I have a stealth account with 9500$ in it.
Long story short the account is verified and confirmed.
I want to purchase a 7000$ wedding gift on ebay. Will doing this get me limited? I am using Sock5 for everything, the ebay seller has agreed to ship the item to the hotels adress I will be staying at.

Simply, when dealing with this amount of money is it better to buy on ebay, or send the amount in 400$ gift payments to another verified paypal acount until the total is there, then buying directly off the sellers website?

Any help is appreciated. This is a very delicate situation as if this account gets limited, this is a LOT of money to loose.

socks5 proxy so the address of the paypal matches a likely IP in the same city

Sending $7000 is sure to raise a red flag over at paypal. Even sending that much to your personal bank account would raise a flag if you did it at once. I would suggest adding a bank account and slowly withdrawing it, 9500 is too much money to be messing around with in my opinion.

That's a lot of money to be sitting in a Paypal account , I won't leave more than $600 , some days I withdrawl 3 or 4 times if I have a lot of sales in increments of $150-$200 , I feel like if I receive anything higher than $200 or withdrawal more than that at one time I will get limited

The best way would of been to use a CC attached to paypal

Not to get into ur business but how old is the account and are you normally selling high end items or is that just an amount that you been accumulating?

If your normally making high end transactions than it probably won't be a problem but if the items u sell are $50-$100 and all of a sudden u send $7000 than I can see a limitation

If your items are $1500- $2000 and u make 2-5 sales or more a day than it will be ok

I only been limited once and never had problems with Paypal and that limitation was removed in couple hours. I think many members have a pattern of funds in and out everyday and break that natural pattern which triggers limitations

You need to go with the flow on accounts that I do $1200 a day in sales than taking out $700 throughout the day in Incriments no more than 2 or three times a sale is ok

That amount I'd be scared to have in Paypal and would start withdrawing in small Incriments slowly increasing each day

A one shot sale like that may require a call ahead if this is not normal day activity
