Default Accidentally withdraw to VBA! Whats going to happen?

Im not sure how I didnt catch this until a week later. I noticed a large chunk of money wasnt in one of my accounts and checked my withdraw history on my new account. I noticed I accidentally withdrew to my VBA that was the primary bank account on the Paypal account. I do have a real bank account on the account. I forgot to switch it over. The transaction has shown completed.

I'm wondering if I should contact VBA seller or would the money come back when the bank account shows closed? I cant believe I made such a newb mistake.

If the account is closed, there's a good chance that the funds will be given back into your account. If the VBA is still open for accepting deposits for some reason, you pretty much have to kiss that money good bye.

The VBA sellers most likely won't be able to help you, but best of luck.

Why not just withdraw it back? I would let the VBA seller know since most are good guys and make decent/good money off this.

I thought about this option. When I click Add funds when logged into that account, PayPal asks for SSN before being able to add funds.

So far the funds have not bounced back. Ill keep you posted.

It happens Dynasty - hope it bounces back to your account. Tops of 7 days to wait and confirm...but speak to your VBA seller to be sure

Tomorrow will be 7 business days. Im attempting to get the funds back. If the account is mysteriously closed a week after the funds were accepted. We have a shady VBA issuer. Not saying its the vendors fault necessarily. Whoever is actually issuing the VBAs. Time will tell.

And once the money was in the account, who ever MakerViet is getting his VBAs from closed the account and kept the money... Thats the end result to this. Lesson learned.

Rough to hear and not blaming you at all but ...the rough part is onus on you not to withdraw to the VBA :( mistakes happen....likely either the money is sitting there or taken...or (perhaps) will be returned to your PP with a delay

Unfortunately things like these happen and we learn from them. I would call it a day and keep moving forward.

Hope you make sure you delete the VBA off the Paypal account.

I did that with $600 last month, no trace of the account anywhere....the bank even said the account # never existed (funny because it was micro deposit verified). I just considered it a "bad bet" and moved on. Sometimes I equivalate eBay trading nowadays to stock trading and learning one bad lesson like that doesn't seem so bad in the realm of things. Just make sure you delete the vba immediately next time after adding your real bank.
