Can't get to PayPal site. Automatically redirects to Ebay community page

Anyone else run into this? I try to make a payment on seller account from within eBay and instead of it transferring to PayPal, it pulls up a page complaining about a security certificate error and saying it won't do for safety reasons, as if some hacker had compromised the PC or something.

I try going to paypal directly from outside eBay by typing in the URL, in a different browser (Firefox) and the same thing happens. In IE8, I can choose to proceed, but it automatically redirects to eBay community.

So now, anytime in any of the 3 browsers, it won't go to PayPal from either inside or outside eBay, instead directing to Ebay community. There are no actions against my account that I know of.

You are making a payment so you have brought something? If that is the case

1) you are a new seller / new account
2) you are buying too many items in a day for a new account
