Default Cash on Pick Up v's PayPal

Don't you hate it when your listing requests cash on pick up preferred on a puny little item worth $5 and the freaking buyer decides to pay you via PayPal and you lose something like $0.50 cents!

Oh well it was a feedback item booster for a new account :-(

Pain in the arse.

You like people coming to your house to pick up items?

Well the postage isn't worth it so I arrange for pickup. These are low risk items (i.e. not items that attract stalker weird freak show type buyers). 99% of the time it's too huge to post or not worth it to post. Happens once in a blue moon.

I never use my own nest. Pick up only at a mutually agreed location ;-)

I don't even like. Selling in my own state which is rare and tonight got 2 sales in state, just makes me in easy , even though it's stealth, for whatever reason I definitely sell a fraction of a percent of my sales like 1 out of 200

I've only allowed pick up once (item couldn't really be sent economically), fortunately the guy was lovely and we had a chat, paid, all good. But I would never do pick up on items that can be sent, Regardless if the persons living a few blocks away, it is too much trouble.

I get so many requests from idiots asking to pick things up when it's clearly not listed as an option, drives me insane. My house is not a brothel, I don't want people coming in and out everyday. I would rather incur the PayPal fee's really.

Yes, pick ups are a hassle fortunately only once in a blue moon. Not a great fan of it either.

I can understand this first post and also understand that it is just plain stupid and not needed. I spend $50 to buildup feedback on a new account. For pickup, use a shop. Use a friends ice cream shop on weekends. Use a friends girlfriend mum who works for a retail store in a busy Westfield plaza, keep it under the counter and pay on pickup.

Think outside the box and boom, more dollars and more time to watch the merge with a remote control take place easier after the 6pm news
