Hi guys. Just wondering if you offer a customer a refund but he leaves you negative feedback because he's p'd off he had to pay postage (even though refund t&cs stated buyer pays postage) and you then go on to cancel the transaction by opening a case on ebay but the buyer doesnt respond.
Will the feedback he left be removed, can it be removed?

Only way to remove feedback is to issue an unpaid item strike or have eBay remove it.
If he has already paid for it and you issued a refund a unpaid item strike cannot be issues.
If there was a fault with the item then I would refund the return postage costs, if they just changed their mind then its only fair they pay the return costs.
Sometimes its better to simply pay for there return shipping costs even if it leaves you out of pocked, it is better than a neg or low DSR and you can make the money back again pretty fast.
