Activity: 0% Longevity: 61% | | Reinstated, what to sell?
I just got reinstated , from what the forum told me before, it was for selling my first item in the 200-300$ section without any seller feedback.
I was wondering now that I am able to sell again, with a higher limit, what should I sell? I have no idea where I could get items to sell. My idea was some chargers for iPhone or something until I get 10+ or so feedback then start to sell a bit higher priced items.
Bad idea ? Any tips appreciated!

Digital photos on a brand new account.
Dont think so.
Not worth losing your account for.

Yeah yard sale stuff could work but I don't think I've ever seen a yard sale around my neighborhood.
Maybe because I am concetrationg on making a profit but I have an old phone case I don't use? It's those otterboxes not sure if "named" stuff could be bad...

Do not sell anything name brand on a new account esp otterbox or other phone items.
Thrift stores will work.
Household used items will work.
Look around everyone has something you dont use anymore.

Go to Goodwill
Buy a bunch of junk that you think will get at least a few bids and wont be too expensive to ship. BOOKS ARE PERFECT. Or, DVDs, video games, clothes, toys, etc.
Sell it on eBay
Get feedback

I look for oddball stuff. Like last week my garage door opener died. So I sold each remote individually on eBay. Lol. I always look for low risk oddball junk like that.

Start off as mentioned thrift stores are great and some times you find a nice treasure for nothing.
You want to build credit, just think of the whole ebay / Paypal system as a credit card
Now if ur name address and phone match than u have a nice foundation and start at a higher credit but with stealth you normally won't have that so you need to start from 0 and I wouldnt take losses but don't worry to much about high profits in the building phase and get all low risk items
Thrift stores have everything you can grab 20 books for $2 and just list them at a .99 cent auction
Just describe any used products in detail take ur own pictures no stock so the buyer can see the actual condition
The first 3 months u need to show that u are selling , uploading tracking is always a plus and delivering fast. If u can do priority mail it is the best, and funds will be released 3-4 days after the sale if u ship next day
But the important thing is making a sale delivering the order fast and positive feedback
After u build your credit than you will see increased limits holds will lift and you can sell more profitable items.
The more patient u r in the beginning the better the account will be meaning higher limits and more money in the future
If u start out with high priced name branded new items , chances are after 90 days you will be restricted

Thanks for all the ideas guys.
Some people mentioned video games, I havent played my Xbox in years and have a stack of video games, all functioning and in their case with obviously a few scratches. Would this work? My worry about this is the scammers, how do I prove the games work? I know they do for a fact but what if he tries to snake me and say they don't work? I would hate to have disputes, etc. I obviously would put the game as used, couple scratches, but functional.
Also going to try to get some books aswell

Get baseball/football/hockey/celebrity cards for less than 10 cents in bulk. List them at 99 cents auctions. They love them, free shipping. Gets ebay bots to see you differently for a while. It helps to be able to list gray items earlier than 2/3 months after getting flagged I find.

Low end cards like Hercules stated. Office stuff, household items ...even hand-crafted items work.
Dont go for anything digital whether photos or eBooks

As I stated above thrift stores you can get books, used items for cheap to start with.
No DVDs or video games on a new account.
Household used items, books etc.
I buy box lots at local auctions piled full of these types of things for 2.00-10.00 a box depending on what is in them. Great feedback builders and account starters.

I don't know about sports cards, but there are plenty of places that sell Magic (mtg) cards. You could just pick up a bunch of 10 cent commons or something.
Also, for whatever it's worth, I've had a lot of success selling items under the "business and industrial" category. Those items don't appear to count towards your monthly limit. The last 5 stealth accounts I've made (in the last 2 months) have successfully sold fairly expensive ($ 400-800) items without any prior feedback and they haven't received any of those annoying MC999s (unlike a few other accounts I've made which started out selling electronics and did get hit by the new MC999). I don't know whether there's something to that or not, but I figured I'd share.

No need to waste time buying online.
Go to the thrift store or look up yard sales on craigslist.
Grab some used items and start listing them.

I found a couple books and football cards. I put them all for sale, they barely get any views, 1 or 2.
Is this whats supposed to happen? I thought I'd get like a 99c bid almost immediately.
