Default does this time of year bring out the crazy in the buyers?

The questions I've recieved from buyers this weekend have been downright amazing.

anyway, on a couple of new accounts, i had the default to file a non paying bidder set at 32 days. I 've changed that to 3 days. My question is I now have a hand full of non payers, but when I try to go in select non paying bidder manually, its says I can't file till xx date (Way out there). is there a way around this?

No. NPB has its time limits.

And yes, this time of year you will get many buyers who dont buy much all year and now will buy items without thinking.

Then turn around and see it cheaper, closer etc and feel they are not obligated to their original bid.

I usually, and will this year stop selling around the 12th an on until the 24th because I am responsible for USPS and if they don't deliver on time, the negative feed back goes to me, Its time to let the big dogs eat. Meaning let the large corporations have the marketplace, (and the angry Customers) ill nibble at the edges the rest of the year.

You will get a lot of buyer`s with remorse at this time of year - 3 days is a good time set UNLESS buyers e-mail you with reasonable explanation

Disagree. Not at this time of year. Time wasters either play my game or shop elsewhere
Time is my money not for them to fiddle. We also close up accounts to maintain good damage control

My return buyers are looked after fine.

When you have had good standing accounts decimated when adverse weather affected postal deliveries you make these choices.
Ebay or PayPal are not to be trusted ever
