Default Large amounts of money in a new PayPal account?

Hey does leaving large amounts of money in a new paypal account a red flag for paypal?

I have heard that anything over $500 could get the account restricted and the money froze. Anyone know about this?

Also I know when your transfering funds from paypal account to paypal account. NEVER SEND THE MONEY AS A GIFT! EVER!

Is it better to use invoice's and wait 2-3 days?

Or is it better to send the money as a service? and NOT for paying for an item so your never asked for tracking info.

Which would be better using invoices? Or sending funds for services?

Accounts link if you send money, any possible way. I know it is not good to completely lower your PP balance but I am unsure how high is too high.

Most people I believe keep as much as they make in a week in PP. But a lot hate to leave >$1k incase the account gets limited. $500 I doubt is any flag, depending what your doing..

Sending Money for "Payment of service" Does not bypass Paypal asking you for tracking info.

If your payment gets flagged. Paypal will still ask for tracking number no matter if u sent it for a service or as a gift.

A sensible user would have a variety of options to use paypal.

Use the account in such a way to appear natural to paypal. What you outline is going to get you flagged.

Earn paypal's trust.

And paypal will flag accounts for $50. User had a hold for under $1.00

If paypal perceive you are trouble, they will react.

If you dont need to use PP (i.e. not eB-related payments), look for other ways to receive money ESPECIALLY if dealing with large amounts

Before I found this site I sent funds from one pp account to another under the "send $ to friends and family" option, and it was placed on a 24 hour hold. When I called pp to ask why, etc. I also asked how to avoid it in the future. And he told me to send an invoice so at least the computer sees WHY the money is being sent. Have never tried it myself though.

Are you sure?!?!!?!?

I thought you could do a money request (Not an Invoice) for "Service" then when you pay check off "No shipping address needed" ?

Leaving large amounts is not necessarily a flag of itself (PP LOVES MONEY) but withdrawing it too quickly could be trouble...
