Seller account banned, 1099 form question
Hi there guys/gals, I had a quick tax related question that hopefully somebody here can help me with. My amazon seller account was banned about two months ago (Got careless with my account and they connected it to a previously banned account)
But, prior to getting banned, I had more than met the 1099 form requirement of 20K in gross sales and 200 transactions. I know they normally send out the 1099 forms by the end of January, and this has me wondering if I'll still get one/still be required to file taxes even if my account is banned.
I'm well aware that I should legally be filling taxes on my amazon sales, regardless of how much I make, but I basically just wanted to know if either Amazon or the IRS would be up my ass about filing for my amazon seller account, even though it's been banned.
Any tax related advice at all would be welcomed here actually, as this is my first year filing taxes (Still a teenager. Yay my own income, boo taxes!)
So yeah, thanks in advance for any help.
