PayPal Limitation
I had a PayPal account registered using 90% genuine information with a play on my actual name linked to a real bank account and real debit card and everything was verified. I did phone verification using my direct dial at work so it was a completely new number never used before.
The account has been running for fine for just under two months. I was taking about 2000-3000 a month in payments through it. But had built this up over the space of several weeks. I have never had any chargebacks of negative feedbacks etc.
All of a sudden out of the blue i received the following email -
Dear DJ Inns,
We need your help resolving an issue with your account. To give us time to
work together on this, we've temporarily limited what you can do with your
account until the issue is resolved.
We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal
account. We want to work with you to get your account back to normal as
quickly as possible.
What's the problem?
We've tried to contact you to verify some of your account details, but we
couldn't reach you. As a result we've limited your access to your PayPal
account.
Please contact us to address this issue. You can contact PayPal by
selecting the Contact Us link in the footer of all PayPal pages.
Obviously i tried to provide the bank statement, invoices and delivery information they asked for and in my eyes all of the information was top notch and genuine.
I Then received an email to say my appeal had been refused in the standard format below -
Dear DJ Inns,
For the safety and security of the PayPal network, we often review accounts
for potential risks. After reviewing your account, we have decided to close
it because of security issues.
We are making every effort to minimise any disruption to your business.
If your PayPal account balance is zero, and you have no unresolved buyer
complaints or chargebacks, your account will remain limited.
Is there anything i can do, is it worth trying to fight it or just giving up and starting again and building up a new stealth account.
Welcoming any suggestions. I'm lost without the extra money i was bringing in!!!
