Default Limits????

Does any one know how the limits system works as far as going to 100/10,000. And with PP how long before they quit putting a hold on your money?

If your looking to get 100/$10,000 it's gonna be a while, as far as holds usually if you ship fast, upload trackings quick, it MAY take up too 2-3 months before they stop holding but in reality it all depends on Paypal and their goons.

Experimentation, fast shipping, happy customers, good product...all these factors play a role PESMO.

Holds can be replaced at any time too

Default It seems pretty random

but my experience is that you can get it up to 100/15000 in six months after you get about 30 feedback.

If this was true 100% of the time, we would all have 100/$5,000 by now on a ton of accounts...not always the case.

In most cases rule of thumb for me is 25 feedback and 90 days when I get raises on an account that starts 10-1000.

Of course 100% and 5.0 dsrs with no issues count.

If you have not had any neg feedback in over 6 months i wonder why they have not raised mine? Im still stuck on 5000K total monthly and i run out half way through the month. I have maxed out 3 months now and almost the other month in between i came within $200. Would have maxed out had ebay not removed my listing. I assume that is holding me back because they removed my listing 1 month all because of 1 word in there that to them made it sound bad i guess. i removed the word and no issues since

You had a takedown by eB - even once...that would likely hinder you for awhile for an automatic limit increase

And that`s why you keep the operations to yourself and not mix business with pleasure

I had an account that got double raise in two weeks from 10/1000 to 30/3000 and then 90/9000. I am not sure what the rationale was, but it happened. This account had less than 10 feedback at the time of the double raises.

I have 4 stealth accounts that were all created within weeks of each other last July...3 have 5K limits, and 1 is stuck at 1K...NO negs or any cases opened....I spread slaes around, so I really don'y need 10K, but it would be fun to get.

I have 2 accounts, one from 2008, other from 2012. Both are only 100/$5000, and I have near maxed both month after month. It only tells me to call ebay and discuss my selling goals, which I really have no intention to do :D

The 2012 account only required 25 sales and 90 days before the account was auto-raised to 100/$5000. I sold things between $10-$50 and made sure to ship fast w/uploaded tracking. My 2008 account never required anything to my knowledge, I had used it to purchase things here randomly, and it had a 5k limit once I started selling alot late 2013.
