Default Credit Unions

EBHL has mentioned a very good CU called NFCU, I want to add couple more to the mix that are extremely good and loyal.

Christian Community Credit Union out of Calf is one of the best, low rates on cars, homes, cc's and great CS people. They usually pull EXP and expect FICO in the 620 range with at least 2+ years good history.

Patelco Credit Union ( google them ) Good one as well, tigher credit numbers but once your in they are golden.

NASA CU in Florida, join a nasa group to become a member and they have some of the best car rates you can get.

My fav is CCCU, they are awesome to work with. Member for about 2 years.

HI:
Thats prob why I couldnt get a Quote--Im on the East Coast.. I dunno-
Ive been quote by Libe Mutual,Allstate/State Farm/Aig/Geico--all were in the $2900-$3800 range..
IVE Never had car insurance for $100 bucks a month--for 3 Vehicles??

BTW--for me, being OVER 21--
I Really like the CU's-- Ive been able to get Great Cd rates/ Fantastic Visa Credit Lines--and cheap car ins..

i.e. Ive recd over $85k in unsecured credit in 2 wks--with not even a phone call.. NO income stmts, no hassles..
--Citibank-I asked for a CLi on a Prof card-they said Too many inquiries??
--BOA--said Adequate avail Credit.
--Chase said too many new accts-
Navy said--YES- is $25,000 enough?, USAA said--Yes-for the Plat Mastercard AND..how about an Amex card also??

There are ways that you all can see what credit card company, credit union and many banks pulls as far as which credit report they normally pull from such as Experian, Equifax or Trans Union or all three.

If you know your scores and credit reports you can then apply to the one who will fit your credit file and not take a inq hit for nothing.

All of these companies have certain criteria for loaning or cc's and everyone should know that all three credit agencies will not report the same information.
For instance you can have a 750 FICO on Equifax and a 650 on Trans Union etc.

If I find it I will post the website that you can do this with. If not google who pulled my credit or something like that. Finance Globe has some good info on scores but not a lot of details like the website I am trying to remember.

EBHL- NFCU is amazing, I cannot get it because no military in my direct family but also you might want to jump on PenFed CU to see if you can get in.

I got NFCU, Patelco, USAA, Penfed,Nasa fcu....
(Penfed did say Limited credit experience??)-- Of course my credit is only 15 years old...
So-I guess I'll stick with Flagship Rewards--they go up to $80 grand on that Visa.
Nasa was like $15k,Navy $25k,Usaa-m/c was $15k,Blk Amex was $30k,Patelco Visa Gold was $30k. (but Penfed says ltd cr exper--on a Recon--they said I closed too many accts in the last 2 yrs)..
DAH... I paid them off!
