Default Scan my stamps.com postage to PDF then send to customer?

Ok, nothing shady here. Customer looks like she wants me to pay for return because she even brought it up. Don't want to risk this acct because I just got limits raised. I printed a postage, then scanned it and reprint just to see if the barcode looks similar. It's pretty close, but not exact. Would this work? I'm trying to send this customer the postage stamp but the stamps.con software doesn't allow me to print to PDF create. Does anyone know what PDF software it could print to?

Also, there was an option where I could print to Microsoft xps document. It's an xps file. Never worked with this before. Can this be done? Thanks.

It should work if you scanned it, no reason why it shouldn't. You scanned it to email it to the customer?

Do you have Adobe Acrobat Pro? I believe if you do when you print it will print to .pdf for sure.

I don't have adobe pro installed. I could but it is a pain because of all the bloat stuff they put on. Have you done it before on stamps.com with the pro? I used PDF create because the program was small so no extra stuff taking up my RAM and processor. But the stamps.com software wouldn't allow me to print as PDF. I tried selecting the PDF create program as one of my printers, but it said it was offline. My hp printer wasn't offline and interestingly enough, ms xps document writer did not show as offline. I never even heard of that one.

Yes, I sent the scanned file on email, but not thru ebay's mailing system tho. Otherwise they would link. I just want to keep this customer happy and move on because I don't want to risk my first ever stealth that just got a limit increase. I warned her that it was a rescan tho and the post office might not take it, and would inconvenience her. She said she'll give it a try.

But if adobe pro does not show as a printer offline, then I wouldn't mind all that bloat ware. I have version 9 pro tho. I'm guessing it should work.

Why go through all the trouble? I use stamps.com and you can email them a return label through thier software or online. Just be sure that the email address you are sending from in your Stamp.com settings is the same as your stealth account. You can copy and paste the buyers email right into the software.

How might the same thing be possible without using Stamps.com? I am often threatened by the buyer wanting me to pay return postage & I usually refund to their PP email but it is double the money usually. Any useful information greatly appreciated, thank you.

Joesshoez, I tried reprinting the shipping label thru PayPal, but couldn't figure out reversing the stealth address with the customers with respect to the from and to part. I was thinking of just photoshopping the stealth address of the destination address to it real address, especially of the stealth and real isn't too far apart. If someone can figure out how to print shipping labels in PayPal independent of the eBay transaction, let me know

@joesshoez, thanks for the link. Now the question becomes, printing a label with the destination as your stealth address, which u don't want. I'm thinking of printing it as a PDF file, then put a layer of ur accessible address on top of it, and see if it works. I wonder if the post office would notice it. In theory it should not be a problem money wise because postage should be the same. Especially if stealth address is within 100 miles from u
