I feel for you, because I have been there.
Probably not in your same exact position but very similar.
I can say that from certainty.

I am also starting my journey tonight...
After waiting and shaking my head for about a year and a third.
Original account had 3000+ fb, and 98.8%.

It is tough at first, but believe me, if I can get thru it, you can.
Just take things slow, research, learn.
Once you have all your chips in line, then make a move.
You may want to learn to make more than one acnt. FYI.
All the best... stay tuned.

Yes, there is a lot to do to learn stealth. BUT the best part of learning stealth, and learning it well, is beating ebay & paypal.

If you read lots, apply the methods, you can have the best time beating ebay.

Think of that as a positive.

Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

Good Luck

Welcome to the forums. While your story is very sad to hear...it's not rare...

In the meantime, you could try to appeal...might as well try while you learn stealth

Welcome to the forum, LOTS to learn, but it is doable

I second rsot, appeal could be a good idea while you are learning stealth. Maybe you will be of the lucky ones who get through & win their account back

best of luck in your stealth journey

It is all about spreading the risk. I learned the hard way last October when I lost my personal and largest account because I chose to not sell for a while after a family emergency came up and was deemed unique activity and risk.

I can say if you are a volume seller or sell high dollar items or both(myself) the initial shock of limits is daunting, but there is ways around that along with time.

Wish you luck!

Thanks for the kind words. Im a motivated person but this is testing my will power. So in a haze of deep depression I managed to signed onto Liquidation.com shift product to amazon, i offer, you name it! I transferred all my feedback where possible as well. Last year I made over 400K and now I'm on pace to make 15 grand this year!!!!!! I do not have an exuberant lifestyle, and I have savings, but this is killing me. Over 100K in inventory :(

I am appealing ebay of course. I have been super clean, what triggered all thsi was selling memory cards that came up short, I made a ton before I even realized what I was doing!! Scammed by an overseas seller. SHould have researched harder sales were coming in too fast at that price point. But the positive feedback was constant and steady. As said my account was top rated and platinum, the issues did not come until peoples cards were filling up with memory or just ruining! It is the only thing I have ever done "wrong," and it was an honest mistake. Even willing to turn the supplier info over to ebay!

Getting confused on a major stealth issue as well. WITHDRAWLS> I see a real problem with the fact that my bank account must have personal info of course. And if I use a VCC successfully how do I pull the money back out of it. Lastly even if I open a virtual bank account just to verify it does not guarantee me to be able to make a true account afterwards. Looking to buy a turn key account from 123 that's already good with a 5K 100 item limit but this bank account thing has me thinking twice.

Thank you again for the warm welcomes.

Welcome aboard, buckle up think straight. Contain your emotions before embarking on this journey.

There is no room for mistakes with Stealthing. You will not regret a cent.

We are all birds of the same feathers and will always flock together. Lots of people on this forum will be willing to answer questions. At the meantime, read and read and read the stealth guide.

Good luck and welcome to the family against eBay and PayPal bureaucracy!

So paypal risk management just called me out of the blue.
They said they may be willing to work with ebay and me but they had some interesting demands.

They basically want me to put ALOT of money into paypal and keep 75% of my future sale money for at least a 6 month period as good faith I will be paying back the bad cards. They know I made about 220K gross on the cards alone.

After a 45 minute chat the guy said he will call ebay and get back to me. And also talk to them about me selling the cards as clones and listing their true GB size.

He even said I can call him tomorrow. Should I be wary or just glad they are even calling me?

Thanks in advance.

Although ebay and paypal are not to be trusted, from my own recent experience it seems that they have been generous so long as you are making sales and have good ratings and don't seem to be selling suspicious items. It is unfortunate that you got screwed by your supplier, but lesson learned here is that computer products are always not as advertised. For example, computer power supply's tend to advertise a higher wattage than what they really have, same with memory. G skill, topower, newegg, and so forth all do this, so it is common practice in the industry. Just make sure you test your products before you put them on the market that way you know exactly what you're dealing with so this won't happen to you again. Good luck

Yea Memory cards are notorious cloned item in china and although there's nothing wrong with them if there blank, the issues comes when either they are not the same size internally as advertised on the card or your adverts (16GB but are actually only 2GB) or if they have a brand name on them like Sony, Kingston etc.

Lessons learned so dont worry Stealth is the way forward and although there's a chance you could be getting your old account back, you can be sure they will be watching you like a hawk so start building stealth accounts now to protect yourself. There's no telling when they could can this account again indefinitely indefinitely!

Of course it tests your will power :( eB/pp can be very frustrating and seemingly-dim-witted at times
