Default Mc999

I have recently set up a new account (after being suspended) I have listed a load of used things to get my feedback score up. I listed some used sunglasses and also a brand new pair and ebay have removed the listings stating I have violated ebay rules and they are concerned of the autheticity (they are not ⊗⊗⊗⊗). Why is this? Can you not sell brand names until you have a lot of feedback? Will my page flag up now every time I want to list a designer brand? Why do they think they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗?

Whenever you list branded items you run the chance of v**o take-down. It does not matter if they are legit or not to eBay. And you can contact the agency, but usually they do not return your call. It can be someone from that brand or someone else selling the same stuff launching a preemptive strike against newcomers or something else. If this is a stealth account, I would not contact anyone about this issue. You need to list non-branded items for awhile to get some history and experience (in eBay's POV). eBay will say that your account is not being watched/targeted in any way. They are watching it, and it is targeted. They are just lying to you. After a v**o hit, I usually wait about a month if I can restrain myself. If you re-list v**o right away, you'll probably lose that account as well.

Many post about this here.

Listing brand new, risky, name brand on a new account will draw flags.

Best to list used items first and then move into your other items.

Been doing this for a long time on my own seller accounts and never an issue.

You would be much better off selling generic used household items until you have a decent selling track record.

Avoid anything branded for a fair while

Sunglasses on a new account is a very risky sale - just because of the known counterfeits on the market, new or used regardless.

Selling low priced items is the way to go. However, even those can get you VERO nowadays.

If you want to create and new eBay selling account. You gotta sell junk for a while. Used clothes even some say risk. Part out a broken bread maker or something like that. But selling unique more or less household items to start stealth accounts is the way to go. Nothing fashionable or branded that is highly or moderately ⊗⊗⊗⊗d is ideal. Will often times not always help to avoid MC999 and all that other nonsense.
