Default what to sell for first listing

Hey guys!

What do you suggest to list mostly for first few weeks to avoid MC999.
I was thinking used clothes?! what do you think and suggest?

And that is considered usually "High Risk"?

Any item list under as "used" not a "high Risk. list anything that us not branded.
Is your account stealth or real one? If stealth how old?

Nothing that will draw attention, nothing with packaging, nothing with name brands preferably

Go nice and slow I find the first 3 months it is better to sell 10'items a month and than after 90 days you can increase limits.' I. Had a couple accounts get restricted from selling close to 30 days old but around 60'sales. Close to 50 positives no neg or neutrals DSRS 5.0 across the board and no cases. I had two accounts like this get restricted from selling because I was a threat to the eBay community but had perfect scores.

Anyway it was definitely for too many sales too fast, the accounts I start slow with low risk items and first month sell 3 items and 2 nd and 3 rd 10 items max , these accounts go on and last

I concur & had a very similar issue some time ago.

I had a perfectly good account burned this way by pushing its limits a bit too much. eBay also said I was a threat, although account had perfect scores. Only reason I could think of was the volume of sales.

It may be difficult in the beginning, but the slow/steady method really pays off about 3-4 months down the road.

Well, when you say start slow, does it mean to NOT reach your limit every month? I only have 10/$1000 per month. Do you mean don't use all 10 listing in a month OR you mean spread the 10 listing per month to 2 listing every week and let them sell/ship then put new listing or re list?

I would spread them throughout the month and rather than listing 10 do 8 (2 per week) and make it look that you are selling odd items from around the house that you no longer want. All the suggestions of low end collectibles, books, orniments, business items, non branded etc are ok. Looks like you are clearing your garage.
