Default The folks who are getting MC999, keep ya head up.

Just a reminder that when you get a MC999 that the account isn't toasted. Two of my accounts got restricted one after the other, but both are back up again. Keep ya head up.

Think you meant the account isn't toasted. That is certainly true, as there are ways around this.

Good news to hear you were able to get them reinstated.

I used to fear the MC999s,
Now, I do not mind certain ones like the call within 48 hours.

It takes a ton of guess work out of if/when an account is banned if something is listed.

I can either save it and list right then and there with a good rep, or spend that 20 minutes making 2 more accounts.

It only gets bad when you find those agents with bad days. Instead of passing the Stealth info that will not be found in their database, they ask for front and back of DL and utility bill or credit card statement.

Always fight until ebay/paypal kill the account.

Make the choices most suitable for your operations.

They sent us mc999 for a good reason. Increased selling limits from 5k to 10k so mc999 is not always a bad thing.
I do see it mostly on new accounts as stated here but definitely easy to restore in most cases from our experience. A short phone call can fix mc999.

mc999s can be worked around, calling in isn't that bad once you are used to it

I love doing stealth now. I have 3 layers of acccounts. 1st layer are my actice accounts all of which are PS and top rated. My 2nd layer are backup to the 1st one, all of which are selling steadily to build up feedbacks and are near PS status as well. My third layers are back up of the second one. I sell like 1-5 items on those accounts per month.

Thanks for the encouraging words BigCJ...I just setup a new account and was hit with the MC999 after the first listing...It was a foolish mistake as it was a VERO item...Maybe this can be a learning experience if i can find a way to overcome.
