Default selling ban due to vero issue

Hi guys,
a few weeks back I received indefinite selling ban, but i still can buy stuff. The problem was with the VeRo trademark issue. ebay asked me to contact trademark owner, which i did not since this may get escalated. Now I am thinking maybe I need to call them or just get a stealth account and move forward? anybody had the same issues?

Creating new accounts to sell a banned item will do absolutely nothing.

i had hundreds of generic items and a few of them mistakenly were listed under a brand name and were immediately removed per tm owner's request. after a few days later came along the "great news" from ebay. so, my answer is no, the items are not of banned category, just being listed under brand name. this is like listing a soap under Samsung brand.

normally you get a warning first and not just banned straight away. Did you have previous issues with compliance ?

First they emailed me saying i have an issue with vero, listings were removed and i need to email tm owner. after a few days i got selling ban. prior to that there were couple of issues with items in wrong category etc. nothing really serious.
Hdavey10, I don't know what is unclear here

maybe it worth trying to reinstate the selling privileges? my only concern is if i contact tm owner they may threaten me by taking to court.

And so you are using the trademarked company's name to push your product. Guess what, YOU LOSE AGAIN.

Remove any trace of someone else's brand and you MIGHT be ok, but still no guarantee. If that company wants you gone, they will force EB to take care of you.

Read the post AGAIN.

OP states he can BUY.

Maybe users should post screen shots of messages to help you when you reply.

If you are banned once for selling "suspect" items. Making a new stealth account is lots of work. It can take months to do it right. Not to mention if Vero policies the items the same result will likely happen again.

From 2005 to about 2009 you could probably just make a new account and sell for a while and be fine. Today it takes so long to make an account right. It isn't even worth risking an account to sell a few items that some company has already policed by eBay.

Remember if you get a VERO notice than the actual entity or their legal team has reported your listings. If you get a generic Trademark violation for eBay that is a different story.

Just be glad you are not being hit with a cease and desist order and the Trademark owner asking you to pay a fine.

Moral of the story is, dont import branded items unless you are the trademark owner. Customs and homeland security will keep their tabs and be on you. Be careful

Sources that i have but now i'm to afraid to use them

If we was to sell a TM item and they pull you and say to contact the TM is it safe to do so provided they are genuine?
Will they still take it further to court?
We aren't in the UK. But normally. If you are selling a genuine product. Take lots of close up pictures so everyone can see. Don't use a stock photo or anything like that. More than likely you shouldn't have any problem's.

In the cases here where people where taken to court. Someone representing the brand purchased a "phake" from the eBay User. Or the Customs let items go through and kept tabs to see if someone was selling them.

If someone is going to use that type of resources. They will have ample evidence.

Seems like OP just wants to know how to sell Vero items without risk of takedown...
