There are...I have experimented in the past with this (so my experiences arent recent) and some accounts do survive...BUT it's not the easiest to do (especially with the new MC999 hardships going on).
Best to go the slow recommended route.

I do it all the time.
Buyer feedback doesn't mean a great deal when it comes to selling on eBay.

Your aim is to make the ebay account grow as quickly as you can and avoid issues.
When you are listing more, you can add notes to get feedback if wanted. |

Can sell the same day as creating the account but usually I wait a week.

I also do it all of the time.
I seldom do any buying or have feedback when starting to sell items.
People have the false idea that buying feedback relates to the account being untouchable and that is false.
I have well over 400 sellers accounts now and do not remember other then on my regular buying to resell items off ebay do I buy things just to gain feedback.
BUYING feedback will not usually keep you from getting hammered if you do something suspicious.
Then we go into what to list that will keep you from getting mc999.
I made an account yesterday and will test it tonight with listing a used book or something. OP I would say more then 90% of my accounts never had a single feedback on them and they are all running perfectly.

I also do it all the time. After I confirm the PP deposits, I usually list right then and there. Quite often I throw 10 items on it off the bat. But they are not VERO or high dollar. Very very cheap. Like .99 auction with 10.00 buy it now. Or 3.99 Buy it now, no auction, free shipping. I just use stuff that should not ever have issues on eBay. But again it is cheap. I have not had any issues with this either on any new account with 10/1000 limits.

Patience builds baby stealths into super stealths over time.
I have tons of no limit and tons of high limit accounts are build over time slow and with household, yard sale etc items at the start.
Went past 3 years now without any issues.

Yes I have also done that some of my stealths. I don't normally rush and start selling right away, but I have on occasion without any mishap. I usually wait a few days to weeks before. But I rarely buy feedback. From my personal experience it came back to bite me. It all just depends on the account tho.
I have had some that ended up being just fine after buying some fb others not so much.

Not trying to resurrect and old thread but one puzzling question:
What is to be expected if I try this and get a negative feedback after say 5 positives? Or 2 after 10 - 20 positives?
I know I would have to do something really silly or encounter an evil buyer for this to happen, but this is a possible scenario and I'm curious.

Burned 15 accs, 2-3 survived. No feedbacks, no wait, quite expensive items from the start.

I take it your verdict is that it could be a risky move. |
