Separate web browsers in one User Acc

Hi,
I have 2 eBay and PP accounts for each User Account.
Before I'm switching to the other stealth I change the IP and use another web browser.
I use Firefox and Chrome, each one for each stealth.

Is this method safe?
Does it keep the cookies separate?
