Default 2014 Favorable Banks

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has recently (2014) had experience with the following banks accepting name mismatches w/Paypal:

TD Bank
PNC
Citizens
Credit Unions

Feel free to post anything about your experiences with any banks as well; I would appreciate any input! Again, please post only about recent/ relatively recent experience.

Enough other threads exist.

Concentrate on what does NOT work.

Credit Unions are fine provided the user meets the requirements to join. Some however are not good with name mismatches.

What I found ages ago was checking the actual bank out before making an account.

Might sound slow. But taking due care means the overall process of account creation easier. I notice this is how you are approaching getting back on ebay/paypal.

Capital One works fine for me.
Wells Fargo agreed.
Bank of america will close any account that has no activity within 90 days. Might be the reason why they closed it down.

I think this is one topic that needs to be addressed periodically because what may have worked yesterday may no longer work today.

We talk about Banks A LOT....and also people don't bother using the Search function which is the easiest thing to use. We can't constantly be opening a new thread with the same question being asked 10,000 times.

203 entries for mismatch names means the subject gets a great work out.

My point exactly, if this was a sticky topic at the top there would not be a need for 203 discussions about it. JMO but I think it would be helpful to have ONE topic on this that can be updated as needed.

I agree with you, Mari. Because what worked yesterday may not be feasible today, is exactly why I readdressed the issue in addition to searching (and drudging up old and possibly irrelevant info).

I am taking care to get a solid stealth and want to do proper due diligence using most current info.

Thanks to all of you for your input.

I agree that this is an ever-changing relevant (and necessary) topic that may warrant a sticky so everyone is privy to the most current info.

Here's a food for thought......Ebay and Paypal have people probably monitoring this forum.....so if we start talking about something that is important to us, think of what that information is also worth to them.
