Default New paypal/is it safe to send a invoice

I just created a 1 day old paypal, one of my old customers wants to buy something, it is under $100, is it safe to send a paypal invoice and receive roughly $75-90- usd on this account?

It CAN be...depends on the item, how the person is paying, how quickly you will TRY to withdraw the money...think logically

If you can AVOID pp.

For me no way would I send an invoice after 1 day of opening an account.

Might get by with it but would be risky.

Why would sending a PayPal invoice be any more risky than receiving that same amount into the account?

You said a 1 day old account.

Most new people to selling and pp would not even know how to send an invoice etc.

And dealing with 100s of accounts and testing, sending an invoice on day one to me would be far more risky then selling something and getting paid from a solid pp account.

paypal want to trust its users.

Invoices are an area where paypal might end up liable if anything goes wrong.

A new account, which has no trust in the eyes of paypal, has a chance of being flagged.

Preferable to advise you of that rather than say go ahead , do it.

Have a question GB.

Let's say I want to collect $997.00 from a client with a One week old (stealth) PayPal account (Business).

Should I send my OWN invoice via email and then just send a Request for Payment to my client to avoid any problems?

Thanks.

P.S. My second question is how long should I wait to "withdraw" the funds and in what amounts?

for safe , please send a request money for services with $150 or $200 per payment . Dont send all of it same day.

if your account has limited before . you can send invoice or request money , no problem .
If you want to withdraw , your account can be limited ( proof of address , photo id )

The good news is this - an invoice is not a payment that has been sent, and they shouldn't automatically roll into one payment. Have the buyer pay just one invoice.
