Restricted bay account. Can it be unrestricted if feedback increases

My ebay account was restricted because I got 9 low ratings out of 211. I just found out that I am able to buy items using the same account. It is only my selling privileges that were taken away.

I want to know, if I keep buying using the same account and increase my positive feedback/rating, will they eventually unrestrict my account so that I can start using it again to sell. I understand that it may take a while to increase my rating but I would like to try. Anyone know if this will work..

NOPE....that account is as dead as dead can be...i got a 12 year old account with over 2,000 feedbacks tossed because of ONE too many negatives (3 total in 12 months)....write that account off.....P.S....sure I can still buy with that 12 year old account...big deal!

Buying feedback means nothing on a sellers account, that's why I laugh when people want to get a ton of buying feedback...

Seriously, you got all those low ratings and didn't think you either needed to change your business practices or items you were selling?

Well, we all have to learn. I was not an expert when I started and I made a lot of mistakes. I am still learning and that is why I am in this forum. To learn.

When you start making stealths (assuming you are gonna make stealth accounts), do not just make 1. Make a couple to a few so they mature about the same time. Just giving you a heads up that 1 is not enough!
