How to have my mother's account unsuspended?
My question is rather simple in and of itself, but requires a little bit of background information in order to be adequately answered.
My mother registered an eBay account in May of 2001, and has obtained approximately 500 feedbacks since then, all while maintaining a 100% positive feedback record.
I registered my initial eBay account in the summer of 2007, while I was underage. I completed many transactions and never received a negative feedback, but failure to pay for three items lead to my account's suspension.
Since then, I periodically register an eBay account to win an item. I typically change the spelling of my name on the registration page, or enter a different first name entirely. I am always suspended within a few hours of payment, and proceed to register an additional account if/when I see something else I'd like to win.
Today, however, my mother's eBay account was suspended for being linked to the account I created in July, 2007. To pay for my purchases, I always use my mother's PayPal account. While I'm obviously not debating the fact that my suspensions are legitimate, I don't quite feel that it is fair to suspend my mother as a result of my misbehavior on eBay. Multiple members of the same household are allowed to have eBay accounts and, while I am technically not allowed to create additional accounts, my doing so does not relate to my mother's account in any way, shape or form.
Simply put, how does my mother go about appealing the suspension to have her account reinstated? Is it important to specify that the banned account(s) belong to her son, and not her as an individual? I fully realize that I am in error for creating eBay accounts when specifically prohibited from doing so, but suspending my mother on eBay because of my misbehavior seems unfair.
