Payment 'Under Review' for 72 hours

I sent a payment from a UK account into a Polish account.

The payment was flagged and marked as 'Under Review'. I got an e-mail stating that it could take up to 24 hours.

It is now just ticked over to 72 hours, and I haven't heard anything. Checked account and no change.

Should I be worried?...

Seriously? you really wondering if you should be worried? Stop sending money from Paypal to your other Paypals and you won't have problems, and yes you should be worried.

Was it for a large amount?
It usually happens when things are out of user pattern or if they assume the account was hijacked.

According to paypal there is now several thousand reason why a payment will be reviewed. Some take as few as 4 seconds and others many days. When it takes days it is because paypal had a live person call the SENDERS telephone number and did not receive a response, so nothing happens.

If Paypal calls me it shows up as "international" because they are based in Ireland. Too bad because my phone automatically blocks international calls unless I unblock them.

Sick of chappies in India trying to sell me mobile phones/PPI or accident claim or fix the problems with my computer.
