SAME last name. DIFFERENT first name. YAY OR NAY?

My ebay acct was suspended recently and it was under my dads name, his cc#, etc.

If i use my cc# and name on my new account will they link the 2 accounts together?

The only way they would be able to link them is if they can track both CC#'s to the same billing address. Does ebay have the power to do this?

yeah ebay suspends the whole household address..... read their full suspension guide on ebay.com

Nay is right. One way you could do so is to have a completely different address.

Having a different address is no problem, i can use my friends address.

But my question is would using MY OWN creditcard be a problem. My dad & I have the same last name but different first names. Would ebay be able to link the accounts just based on the last name? I dont think so because there are plently of people with the same last name on ebay.

Do you live somewhere where you don't have access to Gift Credit Cards?
Have you checked out the Credit Card Alternatives section of this forum?
