Ebay verification process

Disregarding the rule of NEVER calling into ebay when in Stealth.

I have tested it in a few accounts. Does anyone know where they are searching for the information in their database?

They come up past addresses and past automobile ownership.

I am trying to figure out how they are getting the auto ownership?

Public records in general. The database they use is LexisNexis.

Banks use lexis nexis too, at least my last did. THey sent me an email with their Id number after I became a member with thir checking services and completed the questions successfully, which I found strange. It's the only way I know about them though. Didn't know eBa* used them too though.

On a side issue, has anyone ran into the "old eBay" where selling limit increases can take place via the website and answering th verification questions immediately after clicking on "increase selling limits" ? I almost peed myself when I seen this (in surprise and a bit of joy?) - nostalgia in a sense, maybe not for the full on verification questions (like what auto did you buy in 2007) but for the fact that I was able to do it online and was not asked to call in, for the first time in like... 2 years lol. I stopped using eb** for close to 2 months, so perhaps there were changes recently (besides the pw lol) that went on that I'm not aware of yet..
