Default ING dropped me :(

paypal did a chargeback and took the money in my account I didnt have a chance it was actually 3 chargebacks from the same customer for 3 different transactions

They took my money out of the account and did 3 withdrawels from ING
who then dropped me like a hot potato :o due to too many overdrafts
just got off the phone with them... no go

I tried to fight the chargeback since the customer paid with paypal I shipped to confirmed address and they also signed for it but since I didnt have an "electronic online signature" whatever the hell that is they a refunding the customers insurance company so the customer has the items their money back ebay has their fees paypal has their fees and I'm out Fees , Item and profit from the sale
AND!!!!
ING dropped my account

I think I'm off to eat a plateful of brownies

between this mornings loss , ebay not allowing me to take money orders or checks anymore and all their other changes that I was notified about this morning I think I'm going on a chocolate binge

I was just starting to catch up on bills pay for school have money for gas when this happened !!

Be carefull of WAMU too. I got a letter from them and a call from a manager saying that I had two deposits with two different names come in recently. I was warned that if this happens again, I will be dropped.

I was shocked!!!

Ive had paypal deposit close to 100 times and WAMU hasn't called me...Banks usually don't care who deposits money.

I think what nikki404 was describing was that two payments came into the same account being paid to two different names (not from two different people). I could be wrong, though.

IF, they indeed did take the money out of your account, go get a lwayer and start shopping for a new house and a exotic car. They cannot withdraw money form your banking account in that instance..

So let me get this straight,

1. PayPal took funds from your bank account 3 different times for the chargebacks
2. Your bank account was closed due to too many overdrafts

Correct?

From my knowledge of speaking with ING, they have no overdraft. If you don't have money in your account, then their is no money for a company to take payment. I learned of this because i have this account set up to pay for school. And when I waited like 2 weeks and i get a notice from the accounting office saying that my classes will be dropped due to no payment. I assumed that ing would take the money out of my external account but when i called they said i had to transfer money myself to ing then the payment will go through. So i don't know how paypal took money out of your account if no money was there. I think you are not giving all the information of what exactly happened.

I've had inadequate balances in my PayPal account before when I needed to pay through PayPal. I do have my PP account linked to my checking account and it will automatically take the funds from my checking account. But I authorize that transaction (by clicking a button, or something). I don't think they can take money from your linked bank account without your authorization.
