Default Increasing DSR's and FB Rating from Below Standard

Hey guys,

I have an aged account, rather a main business account. Monthly feedback is around 100-150 every month. Currently its at 98.6% and everything is good except for "As Described" DSR. eBay dropped me to below standard and the sales are now almost nonexistent.

What do you recommend to do to bring this up quickly? Hopefully before the 20th where they recount it?

Thank you in advance!

I'm guessing your trying to sell using BIN. If this is the case than yea eBay pushes all your listings deep in the Back

The Best thing is to try and get some sales and BIN won't work so go with Auctions, which will get exposure

And hopefully you figured out the reason why your getting low DSRs for item not described

Yeah, mostly is buy it now.. But I've long discovered the auctions trick and list auctions daily as well. But even those they killed in the ranking. Yeah, of course I'm working on getting the DSR higher - but would like something that can "assist" me. Because one or two negs from stupid buyers that won't even bother to email me automatically kills the ratings.

What status will your account be when Aug 20 comes around? When you go into the seller dashboard there is a preview page that shows you the status of your account when the new system takes over

It is possible that when Aug 20"comes around you may be above standard or top rated, so check that out and it's also possible that your account will be so far below standard

So since Aug 20 is around the corner I would go by that to determine how you will proceed with your account

But once an account goes below standard it's so hard to come out of hat almost impossible at times

Definitely create more accounts , don't rely on that one, and as u can see all that positive feedback really means nothing because a new account with 1 positive will give your items more exposure

I can't really go creating accounts like you would there. I need the ability to post a few thousand items.

Says it will be below standard. But next evaluation is July 20th, not august?

When you click on the feedback, it will pop-up a window alerting you the ratings on August 20, 2014. That is what Dmshark25 is asking.

It is important that you focus two month ahead. Most feedback is left after two weeks of sales.

Why are you not able to create more accounts?

You need to look at what your projected account status will be come Aug20 when the system changes, there are many accounts now that are TRS accounts that will be below standard come Aug20

So you need to see , your below standard now so you may not have an account come Aug 20 Anyway

It's an inconvenience restarting everything over and building your business all over again but if you want to continue to make an income on eBay you need to either adapt to a new system or do something else

Hmm.. August says Above Standard.. however that may change. The problem is this is a really old account 10+yrs - it has no limits. It is almost impossible to create a new acc and get to that level.... unless I am mistaking something?

Also, by new acc - do you mean a few extra ebay acc to the same paypal - or everything new?

Sounds like you put all your eggs in one basket so to speak. I did that before I found out about these forums. I will never do that again. A couple customers can kill your livelihood.

Make more accounts that can age and gain feedback, just in case you can't save this account. trust your gut.

no harm no fowl if you can save the account, you will just have a more to sell on.

New everything, those limits can be obtained in time. Think of them as a safety net.

When I lost my main account I was at a major loss, I was about to lose my place... Thats how bad it hit me. When I found out about stealth... Boy I was on it like flys on ****.
