Default Mc999

So I keep getting MC999 on new accounts (UK)

They are either permanent ban or call in to verify your account.

My account making process is as followed:
New user account
Three dongle, new IP
PayPal first (with entropay, not verified - I usually verify after a successful sale)
Create and link with eBay
I then upgrade to a selling account straight away without listing anything (doing some reading it looks like this could be the problem?)
I then wait a few days and list a 99p book or similar low-risk item.(or this?)

Recently I have been getting MC999's on these accounts a few hours after listing the first item.

I know people on this forum recommend at least 30 days before listing but I have made many many accounts this way without any problems before.

Has eBay policy changed recently in regards to MC999's?
I would be interested to hear other peoples experiences with this or comments regarding my account creation process.

Thanks.

What is it you are trying to sell?

I think entropay might be the issue

Is it relevant what I try to sell? As the accounts have been getting limited after listing a 99p auction book?

I hope entropay isn't the issue! Can anyone confirm this?

The only thing I can think of is that I have created too many accounts within a specific IP range and they will all be banned. (or is it outlandishly possible that my MAC address is blacklisted? i know that eBay cannot theoretically see MAC addresses but has this changed)

I have another internet source so I will try that and report back

If it is entropay then I suspect it will be heard on here first, as a lot of people seem to use it

But with your method: if I was creating a software to search wrong user patterns, then the first thing i would add would be your method as it just looks so wrong.
I don't know if ebay are doing that yet either but it is just a twist on marketing research. So I try to think how a new user would end up at ebay, as your method has no similarity.

Why dont you try browsin, bidding and winning few items before jumping into sales?

Update:

So I requested a call from eBay on two of the accounts that were MC999'd and both were re-instated with original listings.

Are you sure your addresses exist?

Are you putting the entropay details on eBay or choosing to pay your fees through PayPal?

There is always some bitching about most things but the number of people using it, I suspect would make it a lot louder.

But best ask the OP that sorted the problem if it had anything to do with entropay?

Hmm, yes interesting about the addresses.

My method is to select a street and add a number to the last house (so the postcode and street is matching) - do you think this could be the problem?

And with entropay, I add to PayPal and do selling fees by linking to eBay through there. I have not ever added directly to eBay.

Same thing keeps happening to me. What did you say when they called you?

They asked me to send in a picture of my ID to verify my details..
