Indefinite selling restriction on Ebay

I was a successful seller for over 10 years on eBay with 99.9% feedback. I listed an item which eBay removed as a listing violation. I rang up and asked for advice regarding the item and it was recommended that I needed to change the wording in the title which I did. I listed the item again and it was removed. I rang up again and was told it was something I had written in the description that needed changing so I reworded it. I listed it again and it was removed.

I then received a message saying that I had now been indefinitely restricted from selling on eBay because of relisting this item numerous times. Each time I rang eBay they advised me that as long as I followed their instructions then I would be fine. Now I have been indefinitely restricted eBay don't want to know. They are not taking any blame for the advice they gave me, they say that I should not have relisted the item and that they have no proof of the advice I was given.

They won't budge on their decision and have told me that it doesn't matter what my feedback was or how long I had been successful on the site, but now they don't want me to sell on the site anymore.
