Trying to get a new account up and running. Just go thte 10-->30 bump.
Also just got a negative feedback for a $1.50 item after 9 days and he (1 FB guy) says he did not get it. Oh...and three of those days were no-mail-delivery days.
I reported the buyer....anything else I can do?

Some ppl are plain stupid, and some ppl are plain asses. Without tracking, he can claim whatever he wants as far as not receiving the item. It sucks that he didnt try to communicate with you prior to leaving FB. That also places the ball in your court to try to communicate with him. He apparently is uncomfortable engaging in a convo with you, or he doesnt care if he damages someones rep, or he is just out to rip you off.
I do not know what you are selling, but maybe you ought to charge more for tracking. It would leave you less vulnerable.
When I have issues, I refund immediately 99% of the time. I do not want the neg FB, the open case, nor EB looking at my account.

Yeah, hindsight is 20/20. Away for July 4th and unable to answer him within 24 hours. In trying to get a few sure, fast sales for the month I just lowered the price so low to practically give away the items so I could be sure and hit 10 sales and build some feedback. Guy gets an item that normally goes for $8+ (paid $1.50 and free ship) and slams me in 9 days including the 4th which many peopel are taking some time away from home. So now I get to make 80 more "clean" sales (3 months worth) just to make up for this crap.I sell two groups of items. some for around $3 and some for around $25. 95% of my headaches come from the low dollar items. I need to take a look at how I am doing business.

Ive sold stuff just to get fb and an acc started, practically given away stuff, and got negs as thanks for it...v annoying. What irritates me is you refund them and they still leave a neg.

Keep refunding in PP's eyes will eventually bring you a limitation or some sort which isn't wanted.

Throw in a small story about starting this business to help pay for school clothes for your children or something along those lines.
Be friendly and upbeat, and you will find that 9 times out of 10 you can get this worked out in your favor.

Most buyers on eBay are either incredibly stupid or incredibly evil.

The more aggressive and assertive you are the more complained they become, just like in real life. They play by my rules because I always have the upper hand. Thankfully I have "made friends" with Trust and Safety so if anyone wants to mess with me they will get what they deserve.

I reported the buyer....anything else I can do? | This is why I always generate my shipping labels through eBay shipping! No matter how much the item is so it generates a tracking number. This way the buyer cannot complain.

Like I said, it is not about the cost of the item. He hasn't even filed a refund request with PP so he probably does not even know how or know his "rights". He surely knows where the Neg FB button is though.
I am sure it will arrive in a day or two if not already there. But he left the FB and tracking has nothing to do with the topic in general....which is a noob leaving a neg on a super cheap item with my new account.
