if you get linked to all your accounts, you just get shut down at worst.. the only thing that you have to do really is pay your ebay fees or the debt collectors will be after you.

I know some people that never pay they're debts for years.
I have an account that i didn't use for a long time with like 40$ debt, are you sure they will track me by my credit card? (i got zero money on the card)
I think if the debt is so low, it cost more money to track and take the money so they will not even bother if its lower then like 100-500$. Maybe they just wait until the debt grow bigger and then after like 10-20 years will knock on my door and ask 100k

Well is the debt in your name?

But honestly if you owe ebay money for fees you HAVE to pay them. They did there part by letting you sell on there platform, now you have to pay them for that service. It is the right & honest thing to do. If everyone skips out on there fee's then who knows what will happen.

If you make your accounts correctly, you will have no problems.

I am making them correctly now, but the one with the debt was on my friends name like a half year ago, and after i got mistakenly linked i got banned and he said he doesnt care if i'll not pay the debt because he doesnt believe they will track him and hes not gonna pay them 40$, i just want to be 100% sure they will not go after him because of 40$, should i tell him to pay or should i just forget about it? Will it even grow or it will just stay 40$ for years?

They wont 'go after' him they will just send debt collector letters and make you pay it.
Each debt collector is different, some add on fee's some dont.

On the forums, general concensus is to pay the dues to eB ...you used the service, pay off the fees.

We don't make recommendations on avoiding fees and what could happen.

But if they have your real info...there is always a chance of debt collection, logically speaking

I thought people here doesn't care about ebay and hate their fees, anyway i'll pay the debt but i bet 95% wouldn't done it because nobody gonna waste time and money to find me for 40$ and who cares about eBay, they're millionaires.

If you've already come here with this attitude and made up your mind you aren't going to pay them, what are we discussing? The forum doesn't tell people not to pay fees as this isn't good practise and people that don't pay fees make it harder for all of us that do to trade on the platform.

I await the thread you open soon asking for help as you have heard from the debt collectors....

I didnt made up my mind, actually the opposite, im about to pay the debt but i still think its unnecessary. and i came here because i was wondering whats gonna happen if i'll get caught with many accounts and i guess i got my answer. nothing.
Why would you wish that a millionaire company will take my poor friends money?

I would pay your fees, when I was a kid and under the allowed age for paypal I had a negative balance (got scammed, was a dumb kid learning my way about paypal and the internet). I ignored it for ages, 6 months to 12 months later I got a letter through the door asking me to pay. Granted this was 6 years+ ago, but i'm sure it's the same now, if not worse.

Edit: $40? what even is that, I would just pay it if i'm you. It's like 1/3 to half a days "work" at worst.
