So i try to put in his SS# and it says that they cant verify it.

Could it be my sisters address im using, also on his name lets say its martines
i put martinez.
im thinking maybe one of these 2 factors wont confirm his SS#

I had a ebay and paypal account for 2 years under my daughters info and she was only 5 years old, so i dont think the age matters.
i called paypal and they are saying that the ss# is not comming up under the address i provided and asked me to fax in some papers for identiny.
or maybe its that his ss# has absolutly no activity because this is the first time im using his ss# for anything.

I just recently got the "need more information" deal with my PP acct which of course shut down my ebay account also.
They wanted more than 3 items I think 4 or 5 (I'll check later after doing the whole cookie thing)
I know in the past they don't always make you jump through all of the hoops, only 2 or 3. can anyone verify? I do have a ss# (a friend said go ahead and use it) but I'm wondering if I'd be better off just saving it along with a BA# etc to set up a new acct.
I had about $300 in there but about $200 of that is for items that were to be shipped today. I enmiled those buyers to say the item is still available if they can cancel their payment.

Not to say anyone is wrong, but I was told from paypal and other friends of mine that they check your SS# for credit. If you have bad credit with it, they sometimes don't lift limitations because of the risk involved. Just a though.

Also, it's always best to verify and confirm your Paypal before you start using it. It'll save you a lot of trouble later.

That makes a lot of sense, Aspkin. Bad credit is sinking a lot of people these days. You can't get a job, a car loan, can be turned down from joining clubs, the list is endless if they think you are a deadbeat because of bad credit. Doesn't surprise me at all PP is doing it to.

Why are you using an SSN to lift the $500 withdrawal limit??? All you need is a CC#!

Default Bad Credit??

That is a myth about not being able to get things. I filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, Just got discharged in December, I have 5 prequalified Auto loans sitting on my desk, no cosignor needed, not horrible rates. For preowned vehicles up to 2007. I also have rec. 5 credit card offers in the mail in 2 weeks. Don't be fooled.

wow bbcoach, how do you do it? I mean the loans. They never approve me for loans and I've never got approved for a credit card once in my life. Do you have a verifiable income or what? What's your secret?
