Safe to log into old account?

Before i was banned i was using my prefared paypal account, but had to create a new account when they did ban me.
So the new account has my partners details in, i.e address.

I'm wanting to know if its safe for me to log into my old Paypal account which has my proper home and bank details to buy things outside of Ebay?
I'm just wondering if they plant cookies into my PC like Ebay do to check the IP's of me logging in?

HI:
If you absolutely must log into an acct that was banned/ limited--
What I do- is use the library for these things.

Keep in mind: That because Paypal shares info with ebay now-- if they link you with your ip address, then your NEW ebay acct will come under scrutiny, and most likely come down..
So--Be very careful.

I do this all the time, but it is only viable if you can change your ip address pretty much on the fly, if you need to go through any complex procedure such as contacting your service provider etc to change your ip, then it's much safer and easier to use a library or an internet cafe.
