Default Still not clear about address info for PayPal

Ok do I use the same ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address I gave to ebay to the new paypal account or can I use the same name address (real) I currently have in my 6yr old paypal account that's in good standing tho it's less than $400?

Also I'll get a GreenDot CC so should I use the same ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address I gave to ebay for that also?

Thanks for any help.

One (same) name and address per eBay/PayPal account.

If you want a high-level overview of what you should do to correctly create new Fleebay/PP accounts, check this out.

If you want more detail, I seriously recommend you purchase the eBay Stealth ebook.

Even though your 6 year old account is in good standing, you cannot use it with your new ebay account, you need to open a new paypal account using exactly the same information you used to open your new ebay account.

Remember this is a completely new identity, nothing must be the same as your last account, every little detail from name, address to your IP address must be different, otherwise ebay and paypal will link you, although they won't notify you straightaway, paypal usually like to wait until you have funds in your account, before they will limit and suspend your account, then make you jump through hoops to get your hard earned dollars out.

Your old Paypal account, if you've used with eBay already, you can't use it again. You'll need to create a new account with the same name, address and phone number you used for eBay.

yes to sell....ebay put the same ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address-name in the credit card info boxes so I will need to be able to put that same info into a prepaid cc and paypal.
much to my suprize Green Dot wants a ss number so that was a waste of $29.
I tried ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info and of course it was no good.
If I used my real ss number with the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay addy-name would that work?
there are two Walgreens stores nearby so it would been easy for me to reload the card when needed.

Unless you live in Canada, my recommendation wouldn't work for you.
You're better off reading the Credit Card Alternatives section of the forum, like I pointed out in Post # 2.

If you had checked out the bottom of the GreenDot online application, you would have seen this:
Quote:
USA PATRIOT Act
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information (including your social security number) that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask for copies of your driver's license or other identifying documents.

I use 3 different card styles:
1 - DeluxeCard
.......I use this one to set up new accounts.
2 - The gold/silver ones from my Local Wal-Mart.
.......I use these to pay my eBay fees.
.......I use a new card for each account AFTER I load the correct user information on the card online. These are NOT GreenDot cards.
.......I do NOT use GreenDot cards
3 - Gift2Go - Visa Gift Cards
.......These are the yellow ones from my local Walgreens.
.......For some weird reason I can buy these at my local store with a credit card where I have to use cash at Wal-Mart.
.......I use these to pay my eBay fees.
.......I use a new card for each account AFTER I load the correct user information on the card online.

I have chosen to not use the Simon Cards.
Why you ask?..... Because if a account goes down I can just take the left over plastic card to the store and burn the amount on stuff I need at home.

AHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa..................you are so great. Fantastic info!
I'll add $6 to the Greendot card and use it to buy the deluxecard and when it comes in the mail I'll be back to selling...slowly. yea team!

I like the idea of using cash at Wal-Mart for the Gift2go cards.

I use Card A to pay fees on eBay account A
If my card is worth $50 and my fees are $38 I pay $38
That leave $12.
When my fees get back up to $13 or more I do a partial payment of $12.
Then Card A is dead and I buy a new card for eBay account A
Register the new card with the information of eBay account A and continue life.
-----
-----
I use Card B to pay fees on eBay account B.........

Get the idea?

I figured that but don't they get suspicious that you are always registering new cards?

You do NOT register the card you just pay your fees.
Go to:
Your "Seller Account"
Go to:
You can make a one-time payment(LINK) using PayPal or another payment method.
Go to:
Pay with your credit card(Link) {you might have to sign in}
Go to:
Card type: Visa (Use a different credit card)(LINK)
Then enter the new card numbers & Pay bill.
--
You DO NOT have to register your new card to pay your bill.
If you do register the card they will pull the $1.00 to validate the card.
If you do NOT register the card with eBay they will NOT pull the $1.00 validation hold.
--
The card that is registered on my account is empty and has been for over a year.
If the account goes down they are welcome to TRY to get their fees.
But the card that is registered is EMPTY.

LOL that is exactly what I should've done from the beginning! I am suspended AND they will be taking my fees soon cause I was stupid enough give them my credit card! I was going to register my new bank account with them, do you think the gift card/pre-paid card route is better?

Not to sound rude but to be honest you really need to read the eBay stealth guide.
It will answer every question you have ever thought of and many more.

^^ I already know about the book, but thanks. I was just wondering your opinion. Unless your opinion is in the book also then you have a valid point
