I just opened a paypal stealth account and when I got paid through a invoice. Paypal is doing a 21 day hold on the payment. Because im a new seller. How can I get rid of this hold?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Ship fast and use Paypals tracking info.
The faster the item gets to the client, the sooner your funds will be released.
If it is an expensive item, I suggest you use Sig conformation on a CONFIRMED address only.
ebay does to all new account, probally take it off after 90 days being member, but ship with confirm numbers, get to your money faster, you can get it few days after member get the items.

Isn't this just for ebay? The OP said it was a payment for an invoice.
It was paid through a paypal invoice nothing to do with ebay.
Beat me to it!!
I sent and receive payments from invoices all the time. I don't remember that PayPal ever put a 21 day hold on any payment. I do, however, have a business account with an EIN associated with it. Do you have all your limits lifted? Is the account fully verified?
I have a bank account only. Maybe if I add a vcc it will work. Maybe?
You need to verify your account and also if it is a business account and you HAVE NEVER gotten a payment before on it then your first will be held. if your paypal is older than 60 days then you will have no hold on it. You also need 5 sales at least. This is all on the paypal transaction layout when they hold the payment.
It is a personal paypal account. I just have bank account verified. Probably if I add a card and do 5 transactions it will allow me to receive the money immediately through an invoice.
All new personal accounts get a hold on the first few payments, unless someone sends it to you as a gift. As far as having a new business account, they normally do not hold the payments if it's an invoice. If it's a money request they do, which they just started doing a few months ago.
I found a way to remove the hold. It says you that they need to call you to confirm your identity so you can input a confirmation code. Is there a way to get past this?

Dont abuse the "gift payment" option ....and dont pay sellers with gifts
