Slight address modification: will it work?

I want to purchase something with my new account. If I use an address with the street name slightly modified [same #/same zip], would they be able to link that to my old account with the correctly spelled street name?

It depends how much you modify the name, and also don't use this method to buy a high value item straightaway, buy low and see if the item makes it to your address.
