Don't Forget Half.Com & Deja Vu
Well, this is just something. I feel like I have walked into a cancer support group, and still not believing I am here. I was suspended on Friday, after 7 years and 40,000 feedback @ 98.9% positive. Although this is not my sole source of income, it certainly was a tidy $10,000 per month that I am not sure I will ever be seeing again.
I guess I am speaking specifically to media sellers (books, CDs, DVDs). I already had signed up for a second account using a different name, address, paypal account etc. Perhaps the rules are more lenient, but I have been selling on half.com on this account for about three months, and have generated about 200 feedback (100%). Now, I have not attempted to list anything on ebay on this account, and it is still open (under another name, account, address, paypal, credit card, phone). In the meantime I am working on starting yet another account and following the guidelines on this web site. My question is two fold, will ebay let me do my thing on half.com and then zing the account the minute I put something on ebay? Is it better to just put everything on the new account just getting established with a clean IP through AOL, rather than to risk the connection with this open account? And secondly, when you open this new account, will ebay be instantly hip to the fact about what you are selling specifically? If you begin selling the same specific items as before, will they get you for that too?
