Can accounts guilt only by association get eventually reinstated?
My real account got suspended in April for selling counterfeit stuff. As an unfortunate side effect, my wife's account also got suspended, even though except for address and IP adresss, the accounts weren't related in anyway. (I was selling x product to US customers, she was selling watches to customers in the philippines).
She now would like to start flipping stuff she finds in thrift stores, using one off my new accounts. She has aspirations of selling on ebay fulltime and becoming a powerseller one day.
Of course, since she'd be using a f**k account, I'm worried that one day we might mess up and her f**K acount would get linked back to my real account that was shut down.
So I'd feel safer if she was using a legitimate ebay account but I don't know if thats possible. Does ebay give any sort leniency if the account shut down was not directly involved in the illegitimate activity(only guilty by association), and let that account start selling again after...6...12 months?
Or maybe I'l looking at it the wrong way. Maybe her business would be more stable in the long term if it was spread out over a few f**k accounts?
Need some advice.
