Default my cash -> my paypal cards to fund an acct ?

whats the best way to add funds to the paypal acct to buy cheap things for feedback? Is the my cash -> my paypal cards you can buy at any store a good idea? you load like $20 on them, log into your acct, and enter the scratch off code and funds are supposed to be instant to use.

thoughts? experiences?

thanks!

Which informations do you have to provide whn you buy and register your card?

from paypal mycash FAQ:

How does the My Cash Card work?

1) Take your cash to a participating retailer.

2) Buy a My Cash Card at any participating retailer.

3) Visit www.paypal-cash.com and follow instructions to send the cash loaded onto your Card to your PayPal account.

What information will I need to provide to add money to my PayPal account with a My Cash Card?

PayPal collects and verifies your legal name, address, date of birth and Social Security number in order to confirm your identity before you can use a My Cash Card to add money to your PayPal account.

I like to just use a gift card to buy stuff on eBay. THere's the $5 fee but, it's convenient.

ty.

Sai - what gift card?

take a look at the back of the card and read the '3 steps' to add funds.
It says, in the black box, to 'register' for pp, they will require all that other stuff.

I just don't wanna f it up.

My bank has their own "branded" Visa gift cards that can be registered with any name, address and phone just like the other prepaids except they are free for their customers you just pay the face value of the card. TD Bank does this so I am sure there must be others.

I wouldn't want to use anything that has any different info than the original registration info. ebay/paypal may find that suspicious and limit the account.

Just make sure the registation info on the card and the account both match and you should be safe.

Ive tried it. It's just paypal version of green dot moneypak. It will require ssn so it's a no go.Adding any cash anyway will require ssn. Here is a paypal link.

Trig, if it's for buying, just get a vanilla card, register the zip and make sure the payment comes out of the card rather than echeck
